Biathlon: Ridnaun-Val Ridanna IBU Cup ends in chase
The second stage of theIBU Cup biathlon in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna (Italy) concludes on Sunday with the pursuit races. The men will be on deck from 10.45 am , while the women will fire the starting gun at 1.30 pm.
In both races, the French will be favourites thanks to their magnificent sprint performances. On the men’s side, Damien Levet will start in the lead ahead of the green Valentin Lejeune (+9 sec), Antonin Guigonnat (+22 sec) and Gaëtan Paturel (+29 sec). Corentin Jacob will be fifth at 31 seconds and Théo Guiraud-Poillot fifty-third at 2 min 2.

The same pattern was seen on the women’s side, with Paula Botet in the lead at the start wearing the green bib , ahead of Voldiya Galmace-Paulin (+7 sec) and Célia Henaff (+28 sec). Fany Bertrand was sixth at 1 min 17, Amandine Mengin thirteenth at 1 min 33 and Sophie Chauveau fifteenth at 1 min 37.
