Biathlon: the Bessans selections are approaching
Next week, at the international stadium in Bessans (Savoie), the French biathlon selections will take part in two sprints and a mass-start. The races are scheduled for 14, 16 and 17 November, with tickets at stake for the start of the 2024/2025 IBU Cup season in Idre Fjäll (Sweden) at the end of the month.
A series of events organised by the FFS with the combined support of the resort and the municipality of Bessans, the ES Bessans and volunteers from Haute Maurienne Vanoise.
While Chloé Chevalier, Camille Bened and Anaëlle Bondoux, as well asAntonin Guigonnat, Emilien Claude and Oscar Lombardot , already have their tickets in their pockets, there will be three women’s and men’s titles up for grabs in these Bessan races.
The battle promises to be fierce, with Léonie Jeannier, Paula Botet, Lisa Siberchicot, Caroline Colombo, Fany Bertrand, Amandine Mengin, Voldiya Galmace-Paulin, Rémi Broutier, Martin Botet, Valentin Lejeune, Damien Levet, Théo Guiraud-Poillot, Antonin Guy, Ambroise Meunier, Edgar Geny and Camille Coupé all vying for a place.

- 8.50am-9.20am: rifles check, then men’s and women’s ski drop-off

- 8.20am-8.50am: men’s and women’s skis off (no rifles check)
- 8.30am-9.10am: men’s and women’s shooting trials
- 9.20am: men’s 15km mass-start
- 10.10 am: women’s 12.5 km mass-start
