Biathlon: the Italians have some great cards up their sleeves at the European championships
On Monday, two days before the start of the hostilities, the Italian Winter Sports Federation (FISI) unveiled the list of biathletes selected for the European Championships in Martell-Val Martello (Italy).

On home soil, Italy will have a good chance of medalling, with Rebecca Passler, Linda Zingerle, Ilaria Scattolo, Brigit Schoelzhorn, Beatrice Trabucchi, Patrick Braunhofer, Nicola Romanin, Nicolo Betemps, Christoph Pricher, Marco Barale and Iacopo Leonesie all in the squad.

- 2.15pm: Men’s 10km sprint
Saturday 1st February
- 11.00: women’s 10 km pursuit
- 1.45pm: Men’s 12.5 km pursuit
Sunday 2 February
- 10.45am: Women’s 4x6km relay
- 1.45pm: Men’s 4×7.5km relay
