Biathlon: Skidskyttekampen day for Eric Perrot
At the end of the day on Monday, Eric Perrot, in a duet with Océane Michelon from Savoie, will be performing at the Olympic Stadium in Stockholm (Sweden) as part of the second Skidskyttekampen.
With just a few days to go before the start of the biathlon world cup in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic), the newly-crowned individual world champion will be taking to the streets of the Swedish capital to take part in this event, organised as a mixed single relay.
“I accepted because I was invited and it was an honour to be invited! The shows are very popular with the general public and we like to put on a show and enjoy the festive atmosphere. We love doing champagne biathlon with a little less headache, explains Eric Perrot to Nordic Magazine. There are some really big names who’ll be there, so it’ll be really fun.”
He follows this up on Thursday with the sprint in Nove Mesto
Already at the start of the Martin Fourcade Nordic Festival in Annecy (Haute-Savoie) and the Blink Festival in Sandnes (Norway) during the summer preparations, the Peiserot will be taking part in an exhibition race on snow for the first time.
“I’ve never done a winter show before, so I wanted to give it a go, he confirms. I also want to get a bit of experience of putting on a show before a World Cup. I’m going to see if it adds too much fatigue or not.”
At 18:25 on Thursday, Eric Perrot will take part in the sprint in Nove Mesto.
