Every year, a few days before the Swedish opening races in Idre Fjäll (Sweden) and as part of the Swedish national team’s final preparation camp, a training race is organised on the same snowfarm. Supported by ATG, the federation’s horse betting sponsor, this sprint pitted the country’s best biathletes against each other on Friday morning.
In conditions ideal for performance, with sunshine and temperatures hovering around 0°C, it was Hanna Oeberg and Sebastian Samuelsson who came out on top.
When contacted by Nordic Magazine, the Swedish Biathlon Association, which published the names of the winners on its social networks, declined to reveal the full results.
