Biathlon: three weeks in a row in Geilo for Emilien Claude and Eric Perrot
Quentin Fillon-Maillet, Emilien Jacquelin, Fabien Claude, Antonin Guigonnat, Gaëtan Paturel and Oscar Lombardot will return to France following the final Olympic preparation camp for the French men’s biathlon team, held in Geilo (Norway) until 17 November.
A week before the start of the World Cup in Östersund (Sweden), the selected players will be able to enjoy a few days at home with their families before diving into the deep end of the competition.

However, this will not be the case for Eric Perrot and Emilien Claude. The Peiserot and the Vosgien will stay on to train on the snow in Geilo before heading to Östersund on March 25 November via Oslo (Norway) and Stockholm (Sweden).

I don’t go home before Christmas,” Emilien Claude, who is also in Norway with his older brother Florent Claude , tells Nordic Magazine. That way I can be sure of getting a month’s worth of good quality cross-country skiing in before the season opens, without having to travel too much.
Once they arrive at the site of the first stage of the World Cup, the French will have several more days to perfect their skills. The first races, relays, will take place on 29 and 30 November, while the opening individual race – which should kick off Emilien Claude’s winter – will be contested on Wednesday 3 December.
