At midday on Monday, theNorwegian Biathlon Association unveiled its line-up for the World Cup in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic), scheduled to start on Thursday. As expected, most of the kingdom’s stars, on training camp in Lavazè (Italy), will not be taking part.
Ten of the squad will be in the Czech Republic. On the men’s side, Johan-Olav Botn, back from illness after missing the two German stages at the start of the month, is in the squad, as is Isak Frey. The others selected are Sverre Dahlen Aspenes, Martin Nevland, Endre Stroemsheim and Vetle Paulsen, who will be celebrating his first World Cup cap.

Also new to the women’s squad is Guro Ytterhus, who has risen from the Norwegian Cup to the highest international level in just two weeks. Joining her are Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold, who was ill last week, Juni Arnekleiv and Siri Skar.
