Biathlon : the long-awaited return of Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold
While the biathlon world cup in Le Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie) ended less than twenty-four hours ago, Norway has already revealed the names of the biathletes who will be taking part in the fourth leg of the season, scheduled for 9-12 January in Oberhof, Germany.

In the women’s group, after going to Haute-Savoie with five riders, the Scandinavians now have six following the return of Juni Arnekleiv, who was ill after Hochfilzen (Austria), andIngrid Landmark Tandrevold, who has just undergone surgery in recent days. Maren Kirkeeide, who finished an excellent fifth in the Aravis, continues her adventure in the elite alongside Karoline Knotten, Ida Lien and Gro Randby.
On the men’s side, Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen will not be taking part in Germany, as the Norwegians’ French coach, Siegfried Mazet, suggested after the mass-start in Bornand to Nordic Magazine. As was the case last year, the 32-year-old biathlete has been ejected from his selection without making it to the IBU Cup.

In the Thuringian forest, Johannes Thingnes Boe, Tarjei Boe, Sturla Holm Lægreid, Endre Stroemsheim, Vebjoern Soerum and Martin Uldal, who won his first World Cup in Haute-Savoie, were called up to defend the red armada.
