Biathlon: Norway announces its squad for Oberhof
At midday on Monday, the day after the end of the Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie) stage, theNorwegian Biathlon Association announced its selection for the World Cup, scheduled for early January in Oberhof (Germany).
The main news concerns Isak Frey’s relegation to the IBU Cup. Although he wears the blue bib of best U23 rider and is currently a member of the top 25 in the overall rankings, he will have to pay the price for the Norwegian density. Sivert Guttorm Bakken, Johan-Olav Botn, Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen, Johannes Dale-Skjevdal, Sturla Holm Lægreid and Martin Uldal will be competing in Germany.

There were no changes on the women’s side, with Marthe Kraakstad Johansen, Maren Kirkeeide, Karoline Knotten, Aasne Skrede, Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold and Marit Oeygard all returning to the squad.
