Biathlon: gold medals for Tomas Mikyska and Lucie Charvatova
Late on Wednesday, the biathletes brought their season to a close at the Czech Championships in Jablonec nad Nisou (Czech Republic).
Organised around a super sprint, the women’s competition was won by Lucie Charvatova. With a score of 17/20, she beat Jessica Jislova (16/20) by 13 sec 7 and Tereza Vinklarkova (18/20) by 21 sec 4.
On the men’s side, the gold medal went to Tomas Mikyska, winner of the 18/20 race. Vitezslav Hornig (19/20) took silver at 9.5 seconds, while Jakub Stvrecky (15/20) took bronze at 43.7 seconds.
