At the end of March, Johannes Thingnes Boe bid farewell to the biathlon world cup caravan, alongside his brother Tarjei, on his home ground of Oslo-Holmenkollen (Norway). Since then, the young retiree has not really been procrastinating on his sofa, as he ironically announced at the end of the winter.
Indeed, on 1 May, the multi-world medallist clocked a fine time in the half-marathon in Grue (Norway), completing the event in just 1 hour 20 minutes. Since then, the former biathlete seems to have rediscovered his passion. On Instagram, the Norwegian even poked fun at his running outings: “Retired because I no longer had the time to train. Look at me now. I have time to train because I’m retired”, he joked on the social network.
