11:13. After a one-day break, the Junior Biathlon Cup in Jakuszyce (Poland) resumes this Saturday with the 60 mass-starts. In the absence of the French, victory in the women’s race came down to the final lap.
Leaving the leading duo 7.8 seconds behind after the final pass over the mats, Germany’s Lea Zimmermann (19/20) won the sprint ahead of Italy’s Francesca Brocchiero (20/20) and her compatriot Alma Siegismund (20/20).
Transalpine Astrid Plosch (19/20), Germany’s Lotta De Buhr (17/20) and Ukraine’s Iryna Shevchenko (19/20) complete the traditional flower ceremony rewarding the top 6.
