Biathlon: flowers in the Junior Cup for Célia Henaff
This Sunday morning, the women completed the first stage of the Junior Cup biathlon in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna (Italy). In a sprint, as on the previous day, Italy’s Carlotta Gautero shone and won on home soil. With a time of 9/10, she beat Germany’s Lena Siegmund (10/10) by 3 seconds 6 seconds and Latvia’s Estere Volfa (9/10) by 7 seconds 2 seconds.
Ukraine’s Polina Putsko (9/10) and Germany’s Lea Zimmermann (10/10) follow, while Beaufort’s Célia Henaff (8/10), in the lead after the flat, completes the flower ceremony in sixth place. Having run her best race of the week, she has been rewarded for her efforts.

Lou-Anne Dupont-Ballet-Baz (9/10) is another Frenchwoman in the top 10, in ninth place. Further back, Amandine Mengin (6/10) was nineteenth, Namou Candau-Armand (8/10) twenty-fifth, Violette Bony (6/10) thirtieth, Eva Laine (6/10) forty-third and Lola Bugeaud (7/10) fifty-fifth.
