Biathlon: off to Altenberg for the Junior Cup
This week, the 2024/2025 Junior Biathlon Cup celebrates its fourth leg. After the races in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna (Italy) and Goms (Switzerland) in December and the one in Jakuszyce (Poland) in the last few days, it’s to Altenberg (Germany) that the circuit devoted to the discipline’s young thumbs moves.
This stage in Saxony also supports the European Junior Championships. The French team, absent from Poland, will be travelling to the SPARKASSEN-Arena, built in 1973 at an altitude of 830 metres and due to be renovated in 2019.

The week’s programme includes individual races on Wednesday (10.30 am and 2.30 pm), mixed races on Friday (10.45 am and 2.00 pm), sprints on Saturday (10.30 am and 2.15 pm) and mass start 60 on Sunday (10.45 am and 1.30 pm).
