Biathlon: the French selection for the start of the Junior Cup has been announced
On Monday morning, the day after the end of the French Biathlon Cup in Bessans (Savoie), which was selective for the first two stages of the Junior Cup, Stéphane Bouthiaux, director of the French national teams, sent Nordic Magazine the list of athletes selected.
As expected, seven biathletes have been selected in both the men’s and women’s categories, including two U19s. Léo Carlier, Benjamin De Grimaudet De Rochebouet, Edgar Geny, Lionel Jouannaud, Ian Martin, Guillaume Poirot and Lou Thiévent will represent France on the men’s side.
In the women’s category, Violette Bony, Lola Bugeaud, Namou Candau-Armand, Lou-Anne Dupont Ballet-Baz, Célia Henaff, Amandine Mengin and Eva Laine will be leaving for international duty next week.
