Biathlon: Justine Braisaz-Bouchet in Stockholm for an exhibition in early March
At the end of October last year – when the date of 3 March 2025 was made official as the date for the second edition of the Skidskyttekampen, a biathlon exhibition race held in the Olympic stadium in Stockholm (Sweden) – the event’s organisers told Nordic Magazine that they wanted to attract “at least one French team”.
On Monday evening, in a post published on Instagram, Skidskyttekampen deflated some of the suspense by announcing that Beaufort native Justine Braisaz-Bouchet would be at the start of its event in just over two months’ time.
Third in the first edition in 2024 with Emilien Jacquelin, the reigning Olympic and world mass-start champion was enthusiastic about the experience. “It was a fantastic competition for those of us who took part, and I really hope that the Skidskyttekampen comes back every year”, she explained.
It is not yet known who Justine Braisaz-Bouchet will be teaming up with on 3 March.
