17:33. By brilliantly winning the men’s sprint at the Biathlon World Cup in Kontiolahti (Finland) on Friday afternoon, Emilien Jacquelin from the Isère region of France logically takes the lead in the speciality rankings. He will wear the red bib next Friday for the sprint inHochfilzen (Austria).
In the overall rankings, despite his fifth place, Norway’s Johannes Thingnes Boe took over first place and donned the yellow bib. He is followed by Emilien Jacquelin, eight points behind. The blue bib remains on the shoulders of Ukrainian Vitalii Mandzyn, but Campbell Wright, fourth today, is only fourteen points behind.
