Biathlon: Suvi Minkkinen, Otto Invenius and Tero Seppälä lead Finland into Kontiolahti
On Monday evening, the day after the end of the selection rounds, theFinnish Biathlon Association unveiled the list of athletes selected for the World Cup in Kontiolahti (Finland). On home soil, eleven Finns will be competing in front of their home crowd.
On the men’s side, Tero Seppälä will be joined by Otto Invenius, Olli Hiidensalo, Arttu Heikkinen and Jaakko Ranta. The women’s team will be made up of Suvi Minkkinen, Venla Lehtonen, Sonja Leinamo and Inka Hämäläinen, who is just 18 years old.
Tuomas Harjula, Erika Jänkä and Noora Kaisa Keränen will have to make do with the IBU Cup at the start of the season.
