Biathlon: Hanna Oeberg will be there for Kontiolahti
This Thursday lunchtime, the Swedish Biathlon Association officially announced the composition of its squad for the World Cup in Kontiolahti (Finland), which will start at the end of next week.
On the women’s side, while Linn Gestblom, still recovering from shoulder surgery in the spring, is absent, Hanna Oeberg will be there. Ill and unable to take part in the Swedish opening races last weekend, she will be joined in North Karelia by Anna Magnusson, Elvira Oeberg, Sara Andersson, Anna-Karin Heijdenberg and Ella Halvarsson.
On the men’s side, Sebastian Samuelsson and Martin Ponsiluoma will lead the line with Anton Ivarsson, back after an appendicitis operation last month, Jesper Nelin, Malte Stefansson and Viktor Brandt in their wake. Emil Nykvist is out with a foot injury.
