Biathlon: Niklas Hartweg and Lena Haecki-Gross lead Switzerland in Kontiolahti
Early on Wednesday afternoon,Swiss Ski unveiled the list of biathletes selected for the opening round of the World Cup, scheduled for 30 November to 8 December in Kontiolahti (Finland).
Following the selections held last weekend in Lenzerheide (Switzerland), Amy Baserga, Aita Gasparin, Elisa Gasparin, Lena Haecki-Gross and Lea Meier on the women’s side and Joscha Burkhalter, Jeremy Finello, Niklas Hartweg, Gion Stalder and Sebastian Stalder on the men’s side have been selected.
The group selected for theIBU Cup in Idre Fjäll (Sweden) has also been announced, including the call-up of former cross-country skier Arnaud Du Pasquier. After training all summer in Norway, the former member of the TNE Coste – Fromageries Marcel Petite will be joined by Dajan Danuser, Yannik Kreuzer, James Pacal, Felix Ullmann Flavia Barmettler, Irene Cadurisch, Alessia Laager and Susanna Meinen.
