Biathlon: Fany Bertrand puts on a show at La Féclaz
On Sunday lunchtime, the women’s pursuit at the French Biathlon Cup in La Féclaz (Savoie) took place in the Massif des Bauges. After dominating Saturday’s sprint, the women from all over the world did not start this race, as expected, just a few days before the start of the world championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland).

It was Noémie Remonnay who took the lead, 8 seconds clear of Fany Bertrand. The biathlete from Méribel (Savoie) had a tremendous race. The former French mass-start champion, who scored 20/20 on the mats, came out on top with a 51 sec 3 lead over Noémie Remonnay (18/20), who came out on top.

The day’s overall podium was completed by Lisa Siberchicot (18/20)… more than 3 minutes behind. Alice Dusserre (16/20), fourth, was once again the winner in the under-19 category.

Vosgienne Maëla Correia (15/20), first U22, Violette Bony (15/20), up from seventeenth place, Anna Blanc (17/20), Namou Candau-Armand (17/20), second U19, Caline Pic (14/20), third U19, and Lou-Anne Dupont Ballet-Baz (15/20) complete the top 10.
