Biathlon: U17 sprints at La Féclaz for Nans Vercueil and Rose Marguet
This Saturday morning, the French Biathlon Cup at La Féclaz (Savoie), the sixth stage of the 2024/2025 national circuit, opened with the sprints in the U17 category. At the Alexis Bœuf stadium, local man Nans Vercueil triumphed in the men’s race.

With a score of 8/10, the Féclazien nevertheless made two mistakes on his standing shot. Fast on cross-country skis, he finished 12.4 seconds ahead of Niels Bibollet (6/10) and 23.9 seconds ahead of Timéo Amiotte (7/10). Alexis Fine (9/10), Nicolas Colomban (6/10) and Mathis Yvoz (6/10) rounded out the day’s top six, while Doubiste’s Augustin Remonnay (6/10), overall leader, finished fourteenth.

In the women’s race, victory went to Rose Marguet (9/10) from Doubs. With just one shooting error, on the horizontal, the ES Saugette member won this race just 3.2 seconds ahead of Eline Curnillon (9/10). At 20.3 seconds, Adèle Ouvrier-Buffet (7/10) completed the podium ahead of Zélie Pic (7/10), Jeanne Dautheville (7/10) and Rose Loewert (8/10).
