Biathlon: a solo victory for Martin Minazzi
The second day of the French Biathlon Cup at La Féclaz (Savoie) was reserved for pursuits. On Sunday morning, it was the men’s U17s who opened the hostilities on the Alexis Bœuf stadium. Leader at the start after his success in the sprint, Nans Vercueil (11/15) was unable to hold on to the lead and had to be content with sixth place.

Up front, it was Martin Minazzi from Dauphiné who managed to get away from all his rivals to win. Single-handedly and at 12/15, he crossed the finish line with a 26 sec 6 margin over Jules Lafoux (13/15), who made an exceptional comeback from twenty-first place.
Mathis Yvoz (10/15), at 35 sec 0, completed the podium ahead of Niels Bibollet (8/15) and Augustin Remonnay (10/15).
