Biathlon: the Americans are coming to Italy in July to prepare for the Olympic season
For several days now, and until 15 May, the US senior national biathlon team has been back at work on the snow at the Mt. Bachelor Nordic Center in Bend (USA), Oregon. While Campbell Wright and Deedra Irwin, in particular, are starting their Olympic preparations in their home country, they will then be coming to Europe twice before the start of the 2025/2026 World Cup.
Firstly, three weeks are scheduled in Antholz (Italy), on the site of the Olympic Games, and Livigno (Italy) from 30 June to 19 July. Then, from 10 to 25 November, the Americans will return to Europe for their return to snow following the selections held in the United States. This will be in Obertilliach (Austria).
In the meantime, several meetings are scheduled in Uncle Sam’s country: two in Lake Placid (United States) from 2 to 14 June, then from 25 August to 6 September, and one in Soldier Hollow (United States) from 22 September to 11 October.
