Biathlon: changes in Austria for Nove Mesto
On Tuesday, the Austrian squad for the Biathlon World Cup in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic) was announced by theAustrian Ski Association. Unlike other nations, the Wünderteam has not made any compromises ahead of the Milan/Cortina 2026 Olympic Games.
There have been a few changes since the Ruhpolding (Germany) stage, with Magnus Oberhauser and Patrick Jakob, who performed well in the IBU Cup, taking the places of Lukas Haslinger and Fabian Muellauer. Simon Eder, David Komatz and Dominic Unterweger complete the men’s team.
In the women’s World Cup, Tamara Steiner replaces Lara Wagner for the first time this winter. Anna Andexer, Lisa Theresa Hauser, Anna Juppe and Anna Gandler are returning.
