Biathlon: Swedish staff complete their list for the Worlds
On Monday morning, the Swedish Biathlon Association issued a press release announcing the names of the final athletes selected for the World Championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland), scheduled from 12 to 23 February.
After their performances at the European championships in Martell-Val Martello (Italy), Anna-Karin Heijdenberg and Emil Nykvist, medallists in Italy, have been retained. However, contrary to expectations, the staff called up a sixth woman: Johanna Skottheim.
This week, Anna-Karin Heijdenberg and Emil Nykvist join the group of world champions in a preparation camp in Obertilliach (Austria) , while Johanna Skottheim is taking part in the IBU Cup in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna (Italy).
