This Monday evening, our colleagues from TV2, the Norwegian television channel that will be broadcasting the biathlon world championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland) in the kingdom, revealed that world number one Sturla Holm Lægreid had not had 100% ideal preparation.
Present with his team-mates at a training camp on the Lavazè pass (Italy) following the World Cup in Antholz (Italy), he explains that he was ill. “I spent a few days without training because of a blocked nose,” he admits.

Despite everything, the holder of the yellow bib is ambitious for the next fortnight… but not only that: “I’ve never been in the lead overall at this stage of the season like I am now. So I have to say that’s my first priority, but it’s possible to achieve both: a good World Championships and a good end to the season”, he says.
