Biathlon | Lenzerheide: ten-man USA for the Worlds… with Deedra Irwin, Campbell Wright, Paul Schommer and Maxime Germain

Biathlon: the American selection for the World Championships is unveiled

At the end of the week, following the individual races at the European Championships in Martell-Val Martello (Italy), the American staff unveiled the composition of their team, which will be sent to Lenzerheide (Switzerland) from 12 to 23 February for the World Championships.

According to an announcement by US Biathlon, ten athletes will be defending the colours of the stars and stripes in Switzerland. They include Campbell Wright, the best U23 at the World Cup, as well as the Franco-American Maxime Germain, the returning Paul Schommer and women’s leader Deedra Irwin.

Joining them will be Margie Freed, Grace Castonguay, Chloe Levins, Lucinda Anderson, who took part in the cross-country skiing and biathlon World Cups this winter, Jake Brown and Sean Doherty.
