Biathlon: victory in Switzerland for Coralie Langel
On Sunday morning, the week of Swiss biathlon selections came to a close in Lenzerheide (Switzerland) with some short individual races. In the women’s race, Coralie Langel, who competed for France until last winter, took the opportunity to win her first Swiss national race.

With 16/20, the Doubiste rider won by 44 sec 9 ahead of Alessia Laager (18/20) and 46 sec 2 ahead of Anja Fischer (18/20). Lara Berwert (18/20), Susanna Meinen (14/20) and Ronja Rietveld (16/20) complete the ranking not far from the podium.
Silvano Demarmels, success at 20/20
On the men’s side, victory went to Silvano Demarmels (20/20). With the perfect shot, the Gardes-Frontières biathlete won by 33 sec 3 over Ukrainian Taras Lesiuk (17/20), winner of Saturday’s sprint. Sandro Bovisi (15/20) was third.

Gion Stalder (14/10), Paul Stalder (16/20), Felix Ullmann (14/20), Arnaud Du Pasquier (11/20), Yannik Kreuzer (14/20), Gianmaria Tedaldi (17/20) and Loris Maier (15/20) all made the top 10.
In the junior category, the day’s victories went to Giannina Piller (14/20), ahead of Molly Kafka (13/20) and Sophia Imwinkelried (17/20), and Levin Kunz (18/20), who was faster than Tobit Keller (17/20) and Jesco Mengis (13/20).
