Biathlon: time for the pursuits in Lenzerheide
This Sunday, following the men’s sprint, the Biathlon World Championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland) continue with the pursuits. The start of the women’s race is at 12.05pm.
Winner of the sprint on Friday, Beaufortaine rider Justine Braisaz-Bouchet will start in the lead , 10 seconds ahead of Franziska Preuss and Suvi Minkkinen, 11 ahead of Lena Haecki-Gross, 24 ahead of Michela Carrara, 31 ahead of Lou Jeanmonnot, 35 ahead of Julia Simon, 50 ahead of Maya Cloetens, 52 ahead of Ella Halvarsson and 53 ahead of Elvira Oeberg.

Next up are Océane Michelon (+56 sec), Anamarija Lampic (+57 sec), Maren Kirkeeide (+57 sec), Hanna Oeberg (+1 min 3), Dorothea Wierer (+1 min 11), Ingrid Landmark Tandrevold (+1 min 13), Selina Grotian (+1 min 20), Jeanne Richard (+1 min 38), Anastasiya Kuzmina (+1 min 50) and Karoline Knotten (+2 min 21).
Johannes Thingnes Boe overwhelming favourite in the men’s race
The start of the men’s pursuit will be at 15:05. Johannes Thingnes Boe will start 28 seconds ahead of Campbell Wright, 37 ahead of Quentin Fillon-Maillet, 45 ahead of Vebjoern Soerum, 48 ahead of Tommaso Giacomel, 55 ahead of Martin Uldal and 57 ahead of the trio of Endre Stroemsheim, Fabien Claude and Sturla Holm Lægreid.
