A few days ago, Finnish biathlete Venla Lehtonen announced that she would have to withdraw from the World Championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland) due to health concerns.
This Monday afternoon, theFinnish Biathlon Association announced the name of her replacement: Erika Jänkä. The reserve athlete, who has been training in France all summer, convinced the staff to take her to Switzerland after a fine week at the IBU Cup in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna (Italy).
