Biathlon: Marketa Davidova’s absence from the World Championships confirmed
Late on Monday, the Czech Biathlon Federation unveiled the list of athletes selected for the World Championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland). In total, ten biathletes have secured their ticket for the most prestigious competition of the winter.
In the absence of Marketa Davidova, whose withdrawal has been announced in recent weeks due to a herniated disc, Lucie Charvatova, Jessica Jislova, Tereza Vobornikova, Kristyna Otcovska and Katerina Pavlu, the recent European junior champion, have been selected for the women’s event.
The men’s squad includes Jonas Marecek, Vitezslav Hornig, Michal Krcmar, Tomas Mikyska and Adam Vaclavik.
