Biathlon: another title for Mont Blanc
To round off the second day of the 2025 French Cross-Country Skiing and Biathlon Championships in Les Saisies (Savoie), the women’s biathlon committee relay was on the programme from 1.15pm. At the start of this race, the holders of the Mont-Blanc title were the big favourites for victory.
With a large number of biathletes in the federal groups, this committee effectively dominated the race. At the finish, three teams from Haute-Savoie occupied the top four positions. At the end of a superb duel, it was finally team 1, made up of Adèle Ouvrier-Buffet, Louise Roguet and Jeanne Richard, who took the gold medal.
Team 3, with Thaïs Royet, Lola Bugeaud and Gilonne Guigonnat, took silver at 11.5 seconds, while team 2 (Cassandre Couder, Alice Dusserre and Camille Bened) was fourth. Bronze went to the Jura 1 team of Rose Marguet, Lisa Cart-Lamy and Léonie Jeannier.
Savoie 3(Lucie Loosen, Rosalie Odile, Justine Braisaz-Bouchet), Savoie 1(Clémence Lepouriel, Coralie Perrin, Julia Simon), Savoie 2(Lili Fehr, Namou Candau-Armand, Océane Michelon), Dauphiné 1(Jeanne Dautheville, Léna Moretti, Caline Pic), Mont-Blanc 6(Noor Erickson, Maëlle Achoui, Lou-Anne Dupont Ballet-Baz) and Mont-Blanc 5(Ninon Duvillard, Juliette Oliva, Violette Bony) made the top 10.
