Biathlon: Camille Grataloup-Manissolle takes Flavio Guy in the sprint
Early on Friday afternoon, the men’s U19 biathlon mass-start at the French Championships in Les Saisies (Savoie) promised to be a great spectacle. It pitted several of the winter’s strongest men against each other and did not disappoint.
Two biathletes stood out in particular: Flavio Guy (18/20) and Camille Grataloup-Manissolle (17/20). Outclassed by the competition in this last individual race of the winter, they went head to head for victory right to the end, with the last shot failing to separate them.

Together in the final cross-country loop, the Doubois and Dauphinois skiers waited until the last few hectometres and, in this little game, Camille Grataloup-Manissolle proved to be the fastest to win and claim the national mass start title. Léo Carlier (15/20), who fell at the start of the race, took bronze.

Antonin Guy (16/20), Jérémie Bouchex-Bellomié (16/20), Marius Thiriat (18/20), Enzo Bouillet (14/20), Emile Perrillat-Bottonet (17/20), Nans Madelenat (15/20) and Cyprien Mermillod-Blardet (13/20) made the top 10.
