Biathlon: Léonie Jeannier impresses on skis
Following on from the men’s race, won by Mathieu Garcia, it was the women’s sprint at the French Biathlon Cup in Les Saisies (Savoie) on Saturday morning. In the snow, Léonie Jeannier from the Doubs did very well.

Although she achieved a 6/10 against the targets, with a poor 2/5 in the prone shot, she put in a demonstration on the cross-country track to win 41 sec 5 ahead of her French B team-mate Lisa Siberchicot (7/10). Third overall, Romane Ouvrier-Buffet (10/10) won the U19 category.

Noémie Remonnay (8/10) took fourth place, just a breath away from the podium, while Thémice Fontaine (9/10), Camille Coupé (7/10), Caline Pic (9/10), second U19, Louise Roguet (7/10), third U19, Coralie Langel (7/10) and Juliette Oliva (8/10) made up the top 10.
