Biathlon: Villardians on fire at Les Saisies
Just minutes after Martin Minazzi won the men’s U17 mass-start, Zabou Mellouet-Achard triumphed this Friday morning in Les Saisies (Savoie) as part of the 2025 French Biathlon Championships.
Also a member of CS Villard-de-Lans (Isère), the young biathlete from the Dauphiné committee has won her first career national title, taking over from Jeanne Dautheville.
In this race, Zabou Mellouet-Achard put on a real demonstration. Leading from start to finish, the native of Isère won solo at 12/15 after defeating Cassandre Couder (10/15), fourth on the day, on the last shot.
Clémence Lepouriel (11/15) took silver at 30 sec 1, while Rose Dusserre (12/15) was bronzed at 33 sec 0. The top 10 was completed by Cassandre Couder, Jeanne Dautheville (10/15), Louane Adam (10/15), Lili Fehr (13/15), Romane Ottenheimer de Gail (13/15), Eva Marcoux (11/15) and Zélie Pic (9/15).
