Biathlon: Martin Minazzi and Lana Moreira on top in the U17s
A few hours after the U19/U21/Seniors sprints, it was the athletes in the Under 17 category who were on deck this Saturday afternoon at the French Biathlon Cup in Les Saisies (Savoie).

In a short individual event where shooting errors cost 20 seconds, Martin Minazzi (18/20) from Dauphiné dominated the men’s race. After 26 min 58 sec 8 of effort, he beat Jules Lafoux (16/20) by 51 sec 2 whileAlexis Fine (17/20) completed the podium just ahead of Maël Bernole (16/20). Yann Roguet (10/20) and Martin Seigneur (16/20) rounded out the top six.

On the women’s side, it was Montblanc’s Lana Moreira (18/20) who took victory with a 17 sec 2 lead over Pauline Lafoux (16/20) and a 21 sec 0 margin over Taïna Buisson (17/20). The top 6 was completed by Chloé Vermeulen (16/20), Rose Dusserre (17/20) and Pauline Sgaros Rohmer (16/20).
