Biathlon: Martin Minazzi’s composure to win gold in Les Saisies
On Friday morning, it was the men’s U17 biathletes who were vying for the first medals of the 2025 French Championships in Les Saisies (Savoie). At the 1992 Olympic Stadium, there was a great battle for the title, and it was in the third and final shot that Villardien Martin Minazzi (14/15) made the difference.

With a score of 5/5 on this final run on the mats, the Dauphinois took off alone at the head of the race to win the gold medal and succeed Nans Madelenat, who was crowned champion in 2024 in Méribel (Savoie). Niels Bibollet (11/15) took silver at 19 sec 0 while Lucas Moine (12/15), the surprise of the day, was bronzed at 27 sec 2.

Augustin Remonnay (10/15) finished just off the podium, before Eliot Perrillat-Bottonet (11/15), Charli Thiery (13/15), Maël Bernole (13/15), Nicolas Colomban (10/15), Malo Andreis (11/15) and Timéo Amiotte (10/15) completed the top 10.
