12:20. It’s good news. With less than a month to go before the Annecy – Le Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie) Biathlon World Cup , scheduled for 18-21 December, snow has fallen over the last few hours in the Aravis village.
While the Sylvie-Becaert stadium is being built – the huge stands opposite the shooting range have already been erected – this snow cover means we can look forward to the arrival of the world circuit in four weeks’ time with a little more peace of mind.
The programme for this third round of the World Cup will be as usual, opening with a women’s sprint on Thursday 18 December (14:15) and a men’s sprint the following day (14:15). The weekend will be reserved for the pursuits (on Saturday at 12.15pm and 2.45pm) and the mass-starts (on Sunday at 12.15pm and 2.45pm), the first of the winter.
