Biathlon: Austria with ten men for the world championships
Following the European Championships in Martell-Val Martello (Italy) over the last few days, Ski Austria announced on Monday morning the list of biathletes selected for the World Championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland) scheduled from 12 to 23 February.
Unsurprisingly, Anna Gandler and Lisa Theresa Hauser lead the women’s group andwill be joined in Switzerland by Anna Andexer, Anna Juppe and Tamara Steiner.
On the men’s side, veteran Simon Eder is well represented with Felix Leitner, David Komatz, Patrick Jakob and Fredrik Muehlbacher, double European medallist last week, as lieutenants.
