Biathlon: the Swedish selection for the Loop One Festival has been announced
On Tuesday afternoon, theSwedish Biathlon Association announced the list of athletes it will be sending to Munich (Germany) on Sunday to take part in the first ever Loop One Festival.
For this new event supported by theInternational Biathlon Union (IBU), the Swedes will be represented on the women’s side by Ella Halvarsson, Anna Magnusson, Johanna Skottheim and Johanna Nordqvist. Hanna Oeberg, Elvira Oeberg, Anna-Karin Heijdenberg, Linn Gesblom and Sara Andersson will remain in the country.
In the men’s race, Martin Ponsiluoma, Oscar Andersson, Jesper Nelin and Victor Brandt have been selected. Sebastian Samuelsson has also been excused.
