Biathlon: North America represented only by the United States at the Loop One Festival
In four days’ time, a major premiere will take place: the Loop One Festival in Munich (Germany). At the start of this biathlon show put on by the IBU to launch the 2025/2026 season will be three Americans: Campbell Wright, Paul Schommer and Maxime Germain.
Coming from their national team training camp at Soldier Hollow (USA), they will be taking on the best biathletes in the world. However, no women will be taking part… just like Canada.
“It’s too close to our selection races at the beginning of November,” Canadian coach Andrew Chisholm tells Nordic Magazine.
