Biathlon: Eric Perrot takes command of the men’s overall ranking
On Sunday, the sixth leg of the 2025/2026 Biathlon World Cup came to an end in Nove Mesto (Czech Republic). After forty-two events, including fourteen individual races for each gender, a hierarchy continues to emerge.
First of all, in the men’s category, Peiserot Eric Perrot, after a fabulous double in Moravia, took the overall lead. With 834 points, he has 37 more than Italy’s Tommaso Giacomel (797), who becomes his runner-up.

Sweden’s Sebastian Samuelsson (668) rounded off the podium ahead of Johan-Olav Botn (630), Quentin Fillon-Maillet (503), Johannes Dale-Skjevdal (501), Martin Ponsiluoma (500), Emilien Jacquelin (474), Vetle Sjaastad Christiansen (429), Campbell Wright (414) and Sturla Holm Lægreid (404).

Fifteenth-placed Norwegian Isak Frey (340) is still wearing the blue bib of the best U23, firmly on his shoulders. Ukraine’s Vitalii Mandzyn (177) and Poland’s Konrad Badacz (102) follow at a respectable distance.
Lou Jeanmonnot retains the women’s yellow bib… and has a 202-point lead
On the women’s side, Lou Jeanmonnot from Doubt is still at the top of the hierarchy. With a second and fourth place in Bavaria, she wears the yellow bib with a total of 848 points. Finland’s Suvi Minkkinen (646) is her closest pursuer… 202 points behind.

Anna Magnusson (585) then completed the provisional podium ahead of Maren Kirkeeide (576), Hanna Oeberg (560), Elvira Oeberg (506), Lisa Vittozzi (494), Camille Bened (491), Justine Braisaz-Bouchet (478), Dorothea Wierer (456), Océane Michelon (425) and Julia Simon (407).

Norway’s Maren Kirkeeide (576), third overall, logically has the blue bib of best U23 in her possession. In this specific hierarchy, she is (already) followed by Germany’s Julia Tannheimer (177) and Selina Grotian (94), Finland’s Inka Hämäläinen (84), her compatriot Siri Skar (78), Slovenia’s Lena Repinc (65), Austria’s Anna Andexer (62) and Germany’s Marlene Fichtner (55).

In the speciality rankings, Lou Jeanmonnot and Eric Perrot took the lead at the end of the individual and mass-start races over the course of the week.
France maintains its lead in the women’s relay
In the ranking of the mixed events, France, who won this small globe last winter, has increased its lead at the top of the hierarchy. With 305 points, they are ahead of Norway (250),Italy (223), Finland (216) and Sweden (211).

In the relays by gender, as there were no events, Les Bleues (280) remain in the lead ahead of Norway (268), Sweden (260), Italy (211), Germany (205) and Finland (192). In the men’s competition, it is still the Norwegians who lead the way with 345 points ahead of France (315).
