Biathlon: a 12/15 shot and bronze for Les Bleus in the patrol event
On the final day of the Lucerne 2025 Military World Games, a patrol was on the morning programme at the Goms stadium (Switzerland). France’s Jules Lapierre, Emilien Claude, Eric Perrot and Fabien Claude were among the favourites for this particular exercise.
However, with three errors on the mats, the French soldiers made too many mistakes to hope for a gold medal. So, at 12/15, Les Bleus were unable to fight for victory and had to be content with a bronze medal.
At the front, it was Finland (Arsi Ruuksanen, Arttu Heikkinen, Tuomas Harjula, Jimi Klemettinen), at 14/15, who took the title at the end of the suspense since Germany (Lucas Boegl, Justus Strelow, Lucas Fratzscher, Fabian Kaskel), at 13/15, was silver, 3 tenths behind.
