Biathlon: Les Bleus’ perfect week continues at the World Military Games
At the Lucerne 2025 World Military Games, the French biathletes are simply on fire. Two days after the successful sprints, with four gold medals between the individual and team results, it was in the mixed relay on Thursday morning that Les Bleus shone.

Paula Botet, Lou Jeanmonnot, Emilien Claude and Eric Perrot put on a demonstration on the Goms stadium (Switzerland) in the Goms valley. The big favourites in the race, the Frenchmen used 7 picks in eight passes over the mats and never seemed to be troubled by their rivals.

Leading from the start with the departure of Paula Botet from Vosges, the French then took the lead with the passage of Lou Jeanmonnot from Doubt and Emilien Claude from Bassur. Finally, Eric Perrot from Peiser finished brilliantly to give the gold medal to the Army of Champions.

Italy(Rebecca Passler, Samuela Comola, Patrick Braunhofer, Lukas Hofer) took silver by just under 20 seconds, while Switzerland(Amy Baserga, Lena Haecki-Gross, James Pacal, Joscha Burkhalter), on home soil, were tanned. Poland(Natalia Sidorowicz, Joanna Jakiela, Andrzej Nedza-Kubiniec, Jan Gunka) and Germany(Julia Vogler, Rosalie Unglaube, Lucas Fratzscher, Justus Strelow) round off the top 5.
