12:04. After a one-day break, the Junior Biathlon Cup in Madona (Latvia) resumed on Friday with sprints. This time, on the men’s side, it was Croatia’s Matija Legovic (9/10) who took victory.
Although he made a shooting error, he crushed this race with a lead of almost a minute over Austrian Matthaeus Schoenaigner (8/10) and Czech Vladimir Kocmanek (9/10).

At the foot of the podium were David Elias (9/10), another Czech, Estonian Daniel Varikov (9/10) and Ukrainian Ivan Steblyna (9/10). Austrian Thomas Marchl (7/10), the overall leader in the Junior Cup, was eighth.
