15:59. This Sunday, after the sprints, it was the mass-starts that were on the programme of the Italian biathlon championships in Martell-Val Martello (Italy). In a race with just three starters, Hannah Auchentaller (14/20) won the women’s gold medal ahead of Michela Carrara (10/20) and Gaia Brunetto (14/20).
On the men’s side, Tommaso Giacomel (17/20) won his second title in two days , while David Zingerle (16/20) and Iacopo Leonesio (18/20) also finished on the podium.
