Biathlon: customs officers gather at the Lavazè pass for the 72nd Customs Tournament
At the end of last winter, the 71st Customs Tournament, which brings together athletes under contract from France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland and Austria, scheduled for Garmisch-Partenkirchen (Germany), was cancelled due to a lack of snow. You have to go back to 2023, when it was organised in Flaine (Haute-Savoie), to find any trace of this event.
This year, it will take place from 8 to 11 April in Predazzo, Italy. Confirmed by the organisers at the end of last week, the 72nd Customs Tournament will take place on the Lavazè Pass (Italy) for the Nordic events. At the start, as François Simond, the boss of the French Customs team, told Nordic Magazine, there will be a full squad.

Biathletes Justine Braisaz-Bouchet, Julia Simon, Quentin Fillon-Maillet and Emilien Jacquelin will be taking part in the mass-start skate on 9 April and the patrol on 10 April.
In cross-country skiing, Renaud Jay, for his last race before hanging up his boots, and Clément Parisse have also confirmed their presence. The group will be completed by several cross-country skiers who do not have customs contracts, in particular to form the patrols.
