Biathlon: Slovakia back to nine at the World Championships in Lenzerheide
This weekend, the Slovakian Biathlon Association announced its squad for the world championships in Lenzerheide (Switzerland) from 12 to 23 February.
Among the biathletes selected is veteran Anastasiya Kuzmina. At the age of 40, the Slovakian will be taking part in her ninth World Biathlon Championships. However, the former Olympic champion will not be leading the group. That role will logically be filled by Paulina Batovska Fialkova. Ema Kapustova, Maria Remenova and Zuzana Remenova have also been selected.
