Biathlon: France in Hochfilzen with the same thirteen as in Kontiolahti
Early on Monday afternoon, the French Ski Federation (FFS) announcedthe names of the biathletes selected for the World Cup in Hochfilzen (Austria), scheduled to start on Friday. Unsurprisingly, the technical staff led by Stéphane Bouthiaux have decided to retain the same team that has performed over the last ten days in Finland.
Julia Simon, Jeanne Richard, Justine Braisaz-Bouchet, Océane Michelon, Lou Jeanmonnot, Gilonne Guigonnat and Sophie Chauveau are in the women’s squad. Remember that this Austrian leg is the last in which the French women will benefit from the seven quotas. For Le Grand-Bornand (Haute-Savoie) next week, one girl will have to leave the group.
Among the men, Antonin Guigonnat and Emilien Claude, who arrived as reinforcements via the IBU Cup at the start of the winter, remain in the selection alongsideEmilien Jacquelin, Quentin Fillon-Maillet, Fabien Claude and Eric Perrot, currently wearing the yellow bib.
